So what’s the difference about a positive attitude and an attitude of gratitude?
When a person feels joyous it’s a positive feeling that you feel in the moment and so you experience the high vibration of love, excitement, serenity, etc. Now we all know what happens if we feel down or in pain mentally or physically, it’s rather complicated to keep a positive attitude. This is where the difference lies, sharing gratitude is a practice to express the love and appreciation for things we have or wanting to attract into our lives, this gratitude practice has many benefits. It raises your vibration and can enhance your mood, it helps with changing negative thought processes to positive ones, after all - we all want to feel well.
A gratitude practice has been scientifically proven to improve the brain and cognitive functions and lead to a happier being and more self-esteem.
There are many versions of gratitude practices on the internet or in published books, the most important thing is to find a practice that resonates with you. Rhonda Byrne wrote about different versions in her books “The Secret” & “The Magic”. One is where she ask’s the readers to write 10 sentences in a journal daily about things they are grateful for including the reason, starting with: “I’m so grateful for…because… “ or “I feel blessed about… because…”
Now, the key to all gratitude practices is to visualize and feel the emotions for the particular statement. This brings all of the right vibrations into your vortex. According to Abraham Hicks, it takes 17 seconds of “pure thought” (positive thought for the highest good of the Universe, yourself, and others) to change a negative thought into a positive one and activate a new vibration. Also, if you can manage to hold that pure thought for 68 seconds, the vibrations can become so powerful that the universe will support your thoughts and the manifestation begins in your vortex.
The real question is: DO YOU WANT TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE?
